How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel in your Apple account subscription settings. The App Store purchase screen confirms trial eligibility, renewal date and price before you subscribe.

Does all my data stay on my device?
